The truth about Jeeps are they are really great vehicles to own, reliability says it all. I have personally had a jeep that was running for over 500,000 miles, after that I stop keeping track, but ended up selling it for a newer Grand Cherokee. I was skeptical until I found one with a 4.0L 6cyl just like my last one.
It was pretty fair for $1100, body was in good shape I couldn't complain. Since I can not seem to find as much help as I found online working on my XJ I figured I would write-up some experiences maybe a couple of heads-up. So check here often, hell bookmark it, it'll help! I'll try to keep things as organized as possible.

I think I will make pages of specific categories/jobs to keep it organized. I like to work on my jeep so there should be a lot of info and hell mistakes too, but the good things is I will be sharing all. I hope you follow this blog, I will have many projects to share!!

On my first page I will like to mainly talk about gasket mating surfaces, and basic mistakes made on the oil pan gasket, I will make it simple by places videos on certain post to better explain the job. Remember that hard to find parts or expensive parts usually can be tested and obtained at a JY (junk yard).
Its a jeep thing!

Check out these pages:
  • Gaskets
  • Repairs

So here's my first mod! You can see the metal strap I used on my fuel rail to mount it for the new injectors they were smaller then the original ones. Possibilities are endless when you put your mind to it.
